It’s that special time of year here in Manson, Washington. The apple orchards are teeming with beautiful blossoms, marking the beginning of apple season and the Manson Apple Blossom Festival.

There are so many fun things to see and do during the Manson Apple Blossom Festival, including a fun run, 3 on 3 basketball tournament and my favorite, the 103rd Manson Apple Blossom Parade.
The parade kicks off with the presenting of colors as local veterans walk along Main Street, flags held high.

Antique fire trucks, color guards, mariachi bands and charros cruise the street as onlookers wave eagerly.

The Manson Apple Blossom royalty leads the parade of floats along the parade route while excited kids line the streets in hopes of candy being tossed their way.

There are so many fun things to see during the parade, but my favorite above all is the marching of bands.

Alana got in on the fun again this year, marching with the Manson Middle School band.

So much fun was had at our little hometown parade. I’m looking forward to the next one.
The Manson Apple Blossom Parade takes place during the second weekend of May in downtown Manson. Come down early to find parking and reserve your spot along the parade route. Pro tip: Sit at the beginning of the route to catch the most amount of candy.
